Following on from the defeat to Poole Town in midweek, the gaffer Anthony Gale made it clear that he’d be making changes within the squad and he’s wasted no time in doing just that as we welcome three through the door on a month’s loan.
As those at the game yesterday would have realised, there were three fresh names on the team sheet and all of them went straight into the starting 11 as we fell to a 1-0 defeat against league leaders Taunton Town.
Jerome Beckles was the first one confirmed from Dorking Wanderers. At just 27 years of age, Jerome already has over 250 appearances for the Wanderers and is their longest serving players.
Our good relationship with Maidenhead United, which has seen the likes of Josh Kelly and Sean McCormack, not to mention this season’s player of the year contender Ryheem Sheckleford play for us, has now also seen two more players come in from the Berkshire club with both Bradley Keetch and Herson Alves joining the Stags for a month. Bradley has come though Maidenhead’s academy and Herson has previously been on the books of Benfica and Brentford before joining the Magpies.
Let’s get behind the boys as we look to change our fortunes around over the next few weeks.
