The club are delighted to announce the re-signing of prolific goalscorer James Ewington, for what will be his third stint in orange and black.
Ewey scored 39 goals in 38 outings for the Stags last season, despite only joining in October and spending a few weeks away from the club when he joined his hometown club St Albans in February. Upon his return in March he played a massive part in helping us avoid relegation, scoring seven times in six league games which included a massively important hat-trick against Frome, the only goal of the game against Kings Langley and the second goal in the win at Merthyr which kept us up on the final day.
James started the season at Hampton and Richmond before deciding to take a break from football and now refreshed, he's hoping to pick up where he left off for us last season. It took just three minutes to get back on the scoresheet in last night's 5-0 friendly win against Frimley Green, adding one more before half time.
